Photo Shoot

Ok, for the past week and a half I have not even gotten on to the internet. My mother-in-law does not have it at her house and we were there for Thanksgiving, and then I have been trying to read the Twilite series in less then a week and a half. So needless to say I am not even looking at blogs until I am finished. Here is one that I already had put together, thinking I would post it when I got home on Sunday, oopps.

Having cute pictures of your children is priceless, I know, but getting them done can be insane. We went to local chain photography studio on the craziest day ever. Brycen would not sit still and just wanted to run around. This was the first time we ever put him in a studio so we were not sure what would happen. We were so stressed that I didn't get all the shots I wanted too because we just wanted to get home.

Here are just a few of the pics we took. I wish I could post them all, but not really up the have my little girl wearing just booties and a bonnet on the internet.

Opening a whole new world

So about a week after her turning 6 months we gave her some cereal for the first time. It went over pretty good. It's not like she spit it out, but she didn't gobble it up either. I am sure soon enough she will love her new food option.
Six months is such a fun age. She is laughing a lot and has so much personality. One of the advantages of this age is that she will stay where you put her, and since I am chasing a two-year-old, that makes a big difference.
She is starting to get her two bottom teeth in so she is chewing on anything she can get her chubby little paws on. She loves to role onto her stomach and play with toys, which is great until her come back and a pile of spit up is all over the floor. Yes, we do love our little sweetheart and are so glad to have her in our family.

Happy Birthday Andrew

My nephew Andrew's Birthday was this month and we went over to my sister's to celebrate. Here is a picture of all the grand kids minus my Brother's two kids. We did miss them.

He turned tree years old. His mom had cake and ice cream. We all sang happy birthday.

For some reason this is the only picture I took of him with a gift he opened. I got him a tie. I know, you have the rest of your life to get ties, what 3-year-old wants a tie for his birthday. Well he seemed to like it, or at least his mom did. He also got a remote control Thomas the train. Brycen smacked him in the head because he wanted to play with it. Yikes, sorry Andrew.

Grandpa and Andrea

It just so happened to be Andrea's 6 month birthday as well so I was trying to get a picture of her sitting up. It would work for a few seconds then she would face plant. To prevent that from happening, my niece Sarah was there to catch her so I could get the picture and not have to worry about her taking a dive.

I Stuck!

So I am sitting at the computer checking out all the blogs on my list (something I don't get to do very often) When I hear Brycen saying he's stuck. I go over to the other room to see that he has squeezed into his sisters swing. I ask him what he is doing and he says, "I swing'n". I have no clue how he got in there, but he was really stuck. It was hard for me to get him out. But I did without any injury.

Baby Brycen

I know it wasn't that long ago when Brycen was sitting in this Bumbo chair as a 6-month-year-old sucking on his pacifier. But when I saw him this time it almost took me to my knees laughing. I just told him to sit still so mama could get his picture. The funny thing is he did this all himself. Andrea was sitting in the swing and he ripped her pacifier out of her mouth then found her chair and plopped himself in it. Too cute

Brycen loves to take pictures, but not too fond of sitting still and posing for them. He gets to my camera every once in a while when I leave it out. If I ever here him say, "Cheese" or "Pitcher" I know to come running because he is playing with my camera. Don't think I would want to explain to Tom how my very nice Cannon Power Shot ended up in the Toilet (Brycen's favorite new toy).

This has been a long week. I worked too much and then was too tired the rest of the week to do anything. Of coarse it didn't help that we took the kids pictures this week. What an ordeal that was. I am sure any of you with a two-year-old knows what I mean. Thank gosh I have a patient husband. I think I finally pushed him over the edge with this one. I was thinking about it though, and every six months we have taken pictures of our kids. That can really wear on you. If I have time tomorrow I will get some up. If not, I will try before the holiday.

Happy Halloween

Here is everyone right before we left for some Trick-o-Treating. Brycen was a purple dinosaur, and Andi Belle was a bunny. Daddy was daddy. We will have to work on that costume next year. Mommy wore her nursing scrubs.

Brycen had to sneak in one kiss as usual

Brycen wanted to clean up with the candy so he was going to take his wheelbarrow

We told him that it wouldn't fit in the stroller so he would have to settle for a bucket. We left at 5:30. Still a little early but we just went to a few houses. Bye Bye we are off to get some candy. It didn't take him to long to figure out that ringing a door bell meant getting candy.

After a half-an-hour we were ready to come home for a break. Brycen had enough candy for a week and mom had to go to work.

We took this picture on our door step. He was all about the M&M's

A very enthusiastic smile as he says, "Cheese"

Halloween Party

So the day of Halloween we went over to my friend Sue's house for a little lunch and craft party. If was for the younger kids. We didn't stay too long cause I had to work that night. We had to go home for naps so we could get up to do some Trick-o'-treating before I left for work. They had a great time even though it was for a short time. We ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with chips and had apple juice to drink. Brycen skipped out on the crafts and jumped on the couch with Hunter his best friend. I left him in his Lightening McQueen pj's since I thought we should dress up and didn't want to put him in his costume. Andrea was cute and sweet the whole time.

An action shot of Bryce and Hunter jumping

This is a vintage couch my friend has in her basement just for this kind of fun

Avery and Mia

Andrea, once again sitting pretty in a Bumbo

Cute Babbles

This picture was taken at the end of October. Andrea is still 5 months. Can you not agree with me how much of a fatty she is. I bought this shirt thinking she would wear it in the Spring...nope. I pulled it out and it is now in her fall wardrobe with a bunch of other things I thought she would be wearing this spring. Well what can I say.
She is in the cute babbling stage right now so I got some video of it. Please ignore my annoying high pitch voice.

"Ni Night"

Ok, so I am in my room either doing laundry or cleaning up and I have Andi sitting on the bed with Brycen running around the room (typical scenario). Then Brycen gets on the bed and lies next to Andi and says, "Ni Night" and pulls the covers over him. It was all really cute and then he proceeded to give his sister kisses. Brycen loves to give his sister kisses all throughout the day. The first thing he does when he sees her in the morning is go over and give her a kiss. She sometimes isn't up for it He is pretty persistent at it as well. I go along with it because I love to see the bond between them.

If Mom walks away for a Second!

So I had my little sweetheart on the ground next to me and we were all happy with smiles, I walk away for a second and she starts crying. I come back and start talking to her and in seconds she was happy. We did this a few times and then I decided to take some pictures of the whole event. She really is a sweety. She is five months here and what a chunker she is.
