Tom and I just had one of the most fun vacations. We drove out to Colorado and spent some time with our good friends the Galbraiths at Castle Rock. Then we drove up to Vail and stayed in a condo for the week. My mom was up there vacationing at the same place, Cascade Village, cause my dad had a conference for work, so she helped us with the kids.
Oh my gosh, it is so beautiful up there in the summer. We went white water rafting down the Arkansas river. I will post the picks, unfortunately, you can't see me because I am the 2nd person on the right and the guy in front of me is always in the way. Tom is the 2nd on the left and you can see him real well. We went on lots of walks and swam a ton. We checked into the real estate up there and it is 1.7 mil for a 3 bedroom condo. Don't think we will be buying anything soon.My good friend Tracy just asked how I could take such a little baby on a vacation, I got to brag a little, she sleeps from 10pm to 7:30-8 am everyday! Brycen was the one who was getting up every night. I think he got sick of being in a port-a-crib.
We took the gondola up to the top of Lionshead ski resort and that was beautiful. It started raining so we bee lined out of there. I guess they have weddings up there too and there was one going on, I felt bad cause it started poring.If you have never been you got to go. The weather is perfect and there is so much to do.
