Andi + Bryce+ Swing = FUN

Bryce and Andi Belle were playing really well together today. She was in the swing and he was really making her laugh with his animation. So I pulled out my camera and asked him to say cheese. And these were the pictures that I got. I know that they are very cute but I just had to take some video to show just how cute Brycen is.

Brycen is saying cheese and you can see Andi Belle in the back just smiling. Then he tries to rip the camera out of my hand.

I must go on to add that right before naps I gave Brycen some milk and I was typing at the computer and Andi was next to me on the floor. He took a mouthful of milk and sprayed it all over her face. Should've got a picture of that. He went right to bed and Andi Belle got a bath.

Heather's Volleyball games

This week we went to St. Joseph to watch my sister Heather play volleyball. She really is a good player and has been playing varsity since her freshman year. She is a junior this year. We watched two games one against Odessa, KS and the other one against Smithville, MO.
She did very well and they won both matches in two games. I have been going to her games since she started playing in the seventh grade. I have some pics and a video clip at the end. She is the one hitting the ball right when it starts. I will say she will probably not like this video because she is getting blocked, but I don't like filming, I like watching. So I didn't film much to choose from. Plus I am chasing a two-year-old all around the gym, I just don't have time to film that perfect hit.
Heather is my youngest sister and is a great person. She is great with all her nieces and nephews. Brycen runs throw the door screaming "Hedder"
Brycen has been going to these games since he was in my tummy. He loves to play with the volleyball and has to have one while he watches the game, if you call it watching. I have to be loaded down with tons of goodies and drinks so that he can sit through a game. But it is fun and we all have a good time.
After the game he loves to take the ball and try to throw it over the net. A lot of the highschool kids play with him and he just has a great time.

Here us Brycen running around with the ball, it is difficult to get a picture of this nature, especially in a gym.

Here is my mom with Brycen. He looks innocent, but my mom is desperately trying to restrain him.

CHEESE!

This is my angel baby during the game. Andi Belle, she is always so good. I am sure she will pay me back in the future though.

Here we are at the second game. He is not giving up that ball.

Here is Heather and Brycen. What a pair.

Here is the video of Heather. Like I said, she is the one hitting the ball at the start

Here is Brycen having a good ol' time...with the ball of course.

Andi and Tom Watching Conference at Home

Normally I wouldn't even think about posting something like this, but the picture was so cute I couldn't help myself.
For those of you not of my faith, twice a year our church has a broadcast that goes all over the world so that we can hear the teachings of our church leaders and prophet. We can watch this now on our computer over the internet instead of going to church and watching it over satellite. This is how we had our set up on October 4th. I couldn't help but notice how intrigued Andi was to the first speaker, President Henry B. Eyring.

Happy Birthday...Again

Ok, So October 6th was Brycen's real birthday. I was up in Platte City that night to watch my sister Heather play a volleyball game. My sister lives up there so we had more pizza and more cake. Don't we all need at least two birthday parties a year? Well Brycen actually got to try and blow out his birthday candles this time. Before, at the park, it was too windy to light the candles. He blew and blew and blew, but could not get those candles out. He had a lot of coaching on the side from my nieces and nephew. They were saying, "Again" and he would repeat and try again. Finally my sister took a big breath and blew it out.
Check it all out in the video below. The first one is us singing happy birthday. It kind of got cut off at the end. The second is of him trying to blow out his candles. Brycen had a lot of fun playing with his cousins. All in all it was a great night. The only down side was that my sister lost her volleyball game, but she played really well.

We ate brownies and chocolate ice cream that my sister so thoughtfully prepared for us. Brycen had fun feeding himself...as always.

Brycen's 2nd Birthday

Brycen will be turning 2 on October 6th so we had a party for him with some nursery friends and siblings on Wednesday, October 1st. The day started off crazy just getting everything and everyone ready. It got even worse when we were setting up at the park and Brycen fell and hit the inside of his mouth on the table. His mouth kept filling up with blood. We ended up taking him to Urgent Care cause we were worried about him needing stitches. That was about 10:50 and the party was to start at 11:00. Luckly a friend of mine came early and was able to stay and give people the news that the party was cancelled as Tom rushed him to Childre's Mercy. Luckaly he was able to get in right away and was out in a flash.
He ended up being fine and we had the party later that afternoon. It was a lot of fun and a perfect day. I am so glad that everyone was still able to come!

Tom and Brycen eating pizza, Brycen's favorite food. Aiden, Jack and Tylor enjoing a bite as well.

The hungry party-goers!

Pinata time! Brycen beating the bull! At first we couldn't even get Brycen to come over to the pinata, but he warmed up to it pretty quick. The hardest part about having a pinata at a 2-year-old's birthday party was protecting the bystanders from a flailing bat. Good thing it was plastic.

Dylan hitting it out of the park! Thank goodness we had some older kids to help get the job done.

Amelia taking a well needed break.

Tom taking over to finish the job. He was the biggest kid at the party.

Yummy birthday cake. Made with love by mommy! Brycen loves the movie Cars so we had to make him a birthday cake with that theme. When he saw the cake he said, "Queen...Mader" pointing to each one. Then he said "Two", we were so proud.

My little boy, how did you get so big. Yikes, to see pictures of myself makes me squeemish. But, I just have to get over that. One day I will lose the weight. But that didn't stop me from taking a piece of cake.

The cupcakes were a hit too. Here is Jack, Aiden, Dylan, Analise, and Jace.

Everyone just had to take a bite. Here is Jaxon with a mouthful.

Brycen is never shy about getting his hands dirty, especially with chocolate. When he is done he will let me know by saying, " I mess".

Even though the party only lasted just under 2 hours, I was exhausted. Things were so crazy and Brycen still wasn't quite sure about what was going on. So we waited until that night when things got a little calmer. He had a lot of fun opening each one and everything was exciting to him.

Thanks everyone for the great gifts and for coming to the party. We had a great time and lots of good memories!

Tummy Time

I put Andi Belle on our favorite quilt for some tummy time. It is so colorful with lots of different shapes to look at. She lasts for 5 minutes and then she is done. She is getting so big. She is 4 months here. She is 85% in length and 75% in weight. She laughs and smiles all the time. She loves to stick anything in her mouth...anything. Don't get me wrong, she does have plenty of sad moments too.

Family Pizza Night

Pizza is a family favorite in the Bollwitt house hold. I usually get no complaints. Even though my favorite is home made, I had to settle for store bought this night cause I was on my way to work. I can't remember the exact date but it was early September. I think Andrea was about to turn 4 months.
