Going to the Pumpkin Patch

We made a family outing to the pumpkin patch and had a great time. They shuttled us all out there in various mobiles. Brycen was more interested in sitting in the front seats playing with the steering wheel then picking out a pumpkin. Dad was chasing him around while Andi and I cruised around the patch. I have the best stroller. It is a Schwinn Free Wheeler jogger. It can go anywhere I go. I really want to make this a family tradition, going to a pumpkin patch to pick out the perfect pumpkin. Granted it wasn't like we cut it off the vine, but it had that feel to it. The free popcorn and hayride was an added bonus. Andi had a great time. She is five months here and I can't wait for her to be able to sit up.

Wow, a family pic. This doesn't happen that often. Brycen is holding the pumpkin he chose to take home. We took home another big one. Whether on not we do anything with them is something else. But at
least they look nice on my front porch.

This was the all-terrain vehicle I road in to get to the pumpkin patch. The drivers dog wanted to be in the family pic.

This is Brycen "driving" the tractor.

GO GO GO!

This was the Fire Engine that Brycen and Dad took out to the patch. HONK HONK. I couldn't even begin to count how many times he climbed in and out.

Daddy and Brycen trying to pick out a good one.

Finding cuteness in the middle of the patch

Unless you have a toddler, you have no idea how hard it is to take a picture like this and actually have the kids looking at the camera. Smiling is a whole different ballgame.

Andi Belle sitting up like a big girl. This only lasted a hot minute.

How cute is this!

I just went to visit a friend who had her baby on Thursday in the hospital. Just being in that hospital room with a newborn made me miss the whole birthing experience and having a new baby. But then I remember that I have two children and my youngest is only 5 months. I can wait a while. We finished off the night by going to my favorite BBQ place in Martin City, Jack Stack. That's one of the perks living in the Midwest, you can't beat the BBQ.
